We made our usual trip down to Florida to spend the holidays with my family. My flight left the airport just as the big snow storm hit so I was lucky to get out. The sad part was, I knew I'd be missing a white Christmas! As usual, Orlando was in the 80's and it felt more like the 4th of July than Christmas. Ah well, we still had a wonderful time visiting the family and the kids had a blast. This year, Sebastian understood (sort-of) that Santa was coming and he certainly enjoyed opening up all his gifts. He was also quite happy to help Camille open hers too. We got to see Aunt Dot out in Ormand Beach having a nice lunch and visit out on the sun-drenched deck, a visit to the zoo complete with a water-sprinkler frolic on our way out and we even got to toast marshmallows by a campfire at my friend, Lee Ann's, house. No snow but I guess there is something to be said about being able to wear shorts and be outside without a jacket in December. It was a nice holiday season but traveling is always exhausting and we're glad to be back home and setling back into our routine.
Happy New Year to All! See the Christmas Album for more photos. ------>
