This post will be all about our feisty daughter who I've affectionately nicknamed "Missy Lou." First let me reveal that today is Camille's first official walking day! Yep, she took about 5 steps across our living room floor this morning and once she found out she could actually do it, there has been no stopping her! Here's the video for your viewing enjoyment! Download Camille Walks 050909 There is one thing we've noticed about Camille that is certainly different from Sebastian. Sebastian was always a cautious, think-before-he-acted kind of boy. He actually still is! Not Camille! One woman at the playground came up to me last week and said Camille reminded her of extreme sports! I really had to laugh at that comment. It's true though, the girl has no fear whatsoever and will just throw herself down the big kid slide without thinking twice about it. Look What Camille Did!
- January 11, 2010 I went poo on the potty. I was 21 months old.
November 29 I say mama, dada, nana (banana), dee-tee (dirty), ball, no, shoes, nigh-nigh (night-night), nice-nice, poo-poo, bye-bye, ah-duh (all done), appoo (apple), qua-coo (cracker), upa (up), wee-wee (milk), meow-meow (cat), woof-woof (dog), quack-quack (duck), wa-wa (water), ca (car), Bah (Sebastian) I'm almost 20 months old.
August 7 I'm no longer drinking from a bottle. I say "mama, dada, meow meow and quack quack. I LOVE shoes! I was 16 months old.
July 25 I used a fork for the first time to feed myself. I was 15.5 months old.
May 19 I said my first word and waved: "Hi."
May 9 I took my first steps! I was 13 months old.
Feb. 7 My first teeth were spotted. (lower center)I was 10 months old.
Jan. 31 I can wave bye-bye. I was almost 10 months old.
Jan. 22 I can clap my hands.
Jan. 11 I crawled for the first time. I was 9 months old.
Jan. 4, 2009 I transitioned from my infant carseat to a toddler seat!I was 9 months old.
Nov. 13 I sat with no support. I was 7 months old.
Oct. 8 I ate my first food of rice cereal and bananas. I was 6 months old.
Sept. 9 I slept through the night for the first time (11pm - 7am). I was 5 months old.
August 8 - I rolled over for the first time. I was 4 months old.
July 24 - I started cutting my first tooth. I was 3.5 months old.
May 13 - I smiled for the first time. I was 5 weeks old.
April 23 - I took my first bath.
April 16 - I went on my 1st outing with Mommy and Daddy to Home Depot, Babies R Us and Target. I was 10 days old.
April 13 - I went on my 1st family outing to the 105th St. playground. I was 7 days old.
April 14 - I had my first doctor visit and took my first NYC cab ride! I was 1 week old.
April 11 - I traveled from the hospital to my new home. I was 5 days old.
April 7, 2008 - Happy Birthday to me!
December 2 - Daddy felt me kick for the 1st time.
November 15 - Mommy felt me kick for the 1st time.
Sept. 4 - Mommy and Daddy heard my heartbeat for the 1st time.
August 13, 2007 - Mommy and Daddy found out they were having me!

- Dec. 9 I spelled my whole name.
Sept. 10 I started pre-school. I was 3.5 years old.
Jan. 31 I swam by myself (with water wings).
Jan. 29 I had my first dental appointment. I was almost 3 years old.
Jan. 4, 2009 I transitioned from my toddler carseat to a booster seat!
Nov. 3 I got my first case of strep throat.
Oct. 30 I went poo in the potty for the first time and I received my first credit card offer in the mail. I was 2.75 years old.
April 1 I'm talking in sentences and can sing my abc's and count to 10 (with a little help). I'm 25 months old
Feb. 14 I say "bess shoo" when you sneeze and I can turn on the gas stove! I'm almost 2 years old.
Jan 25 I learned to color with crayons.
Jan 23, 2008 I can open the refrigerator. I was 23 months old.
Dec. 1 I can open doors using the doorknob. I was 21 months old.
Oct. 19 I gave up my night-time bottle. I was 20 months old
Sept. 23 I ate with a fork for the first time. I was 19 months old.
July 14 I had my first haircut. I was almost 17 month old
July 1 - I started drinking from a straw. I was 16 months old.
June 8 - I started singing "Stop and Go" in baby-talk.
May 20 - I took my first steps. I was almost 15 months old.
May 14 - I stood on my own. I was 14.5 months old
March 26 - I waved and said "bye-bye." I was 13 months old.
March 3 - I got my first toothbrush and brushed my 3 teeth! I was 1 year old.
Feb. 18 - I touched snow for the first time.
Jan. 4, 2007 - I crawled for the first time. I was 10 months old.
Dec. 27 - My 2nd tooth was spotted (Lower right).
Dec. 21 - I dipped my toes in the ocean for the 1st time.
Nov. 21 - My 1st tooth was spotted (lower left). I was 9 months old.
Sept. 15 - I sat with no support. I was 7 months old
August 27 - I ate my 1st food (rice cereal). I was 6 months old.
August 11 - Mommy cut the last of my baby hair and saved it for me.
July 13 - I had my first swim at Grammy and Pap Pap's house.
July 5 - I rolled from my back to my tummy for the 1st time. I was 4 months old.
June 24 - I took my first NYC cab ride.
June 1 - I spit out my pacifier and haven't used it since.
